This year our winter safari returned to South Africa's scenic Western Cape at the end of January 2011. Lee Tryhorn led a group of 10 pilots on a 2-week trip designed to take in a range of varied coastal and inland flying sites.
What a spring season so far, we´ve had over thirty pilots come and visit us throughout February and early March and apart from one challenging week we´ve had lovely weather , temperatures between 18-20 on the hill. Half of those have chosen to learn with us, We´ve laid on extra paragliding tuition courses where possible.
Its been a great year, we’ve had some great sizzling weather, to date we have only lost four days since September to bad weather. We have had visiting pilots wanting to fly and learn from the Uk , and all over Europe to the colder northern climes of Norway. We’ve added extra weeks for tuition and paragliding lessons and filled them. We’ve taken on more staff and the adjoining house next door to cope with the extra paragliding courses that have been running.
September has been a whirlwind of a month. We've run three weeks of thermal flying with some great flying, Xc and balmy temperatures. Our first week of tuition has also been fabulous
