Airport Transfer - 1pm pick up & drop off, Malaga Airport
At 13:00 please be ready for collection at the bench closest to the entrance of the "Santamaria" cafe/bar which is just outside of the arrivals building. Your driver will have a FlySpain sign and wear a FlySpain t-shirt.
We can organise a taxi for you for 120E from Malaga Airport to Algodonales, just email us to arrange.
You can take a shuttle from Malaga Airport to Malaga Central bus station for 1E and they run every 30 mins.
From the bus station you can either take a bus to Ronda or Algodonales with Damas bus company. Malaga to Algodonales have 4 buses per day, it takes 2.5hr and costs 12E. Malaga to Ronda runs hourly, takes 1.5hr and costs 12E. You can take another bus from Ronda to Algodonales, it takes 30 mins and costs 6E.
If you're arriving by local bus you´ll need to find your own way to the townhouse as our van driver will be at the airport. Instructions and a map for the house are found here or you'll see us on Google maps at the top of town.
If you would like to visit any of the towns we fly over in the evening after flying then hire cars are the way forward. There are many companies working out of Malaga Airport and if you search around you can often find a bargain.
Our house is lovely but it´s not a hotel, there are no ensuites and prices are based on two sharing, if you're a woman then you'll more than likely get a room to yourself but if you want to guarantee a room to your self, tick the single room supplement on the form, 165E supplement. You will be staying in our house in the village with full kitchen facilities, washing machine, etc. The house is non-smoking but there is the freedom of the terrace to practice!
Towels and linen are provided, so are hairdryers, safety deposit boxes...just bring your toothbrush & glider.
Non-flyers are very welcome and they will be charged 300E which includes accommodation and airport collection, this does not guarantee a place in the transportation around the flying sites which depends on availability on the day.
The driver will give you the door code and you will find your name on the door of your room. If you arrive outside of our airport pick up times we will send you the door code details in a separate email.

The village and eating out
The area you will be visiting is, in our opinion, one of the finest and most beautiful regions in all of Southern Spain. The area is steeped in history as well as the stunning countryside. The village of Algodonales boasts plenty of tapas bars and food and drink is incredibly cheap by comparison to the UK. Breakfast is available in the square if you wish, or feel free to shop and eat in the house. We sometimes stop for lunch at a local bar or stop at a shop and pick up sandwiches depending on the weather. For evening meals you can either shop in the village and cook in the house or go down to the bars on the square.
As for cash you can use all debit cards in the village cash machines but quite often there is a limit to how much one can draw in a day unless you have a prior arrangement with your bank.
We require your balance to be paid in full on your arrival, pounds, euros or card. Card payments over 1000 euros are subject to a 2% bank charge.
Deposits are non-refundable (as places are limited) but we will try and move your booking to another time if possible. Last minute cancellations of 28 days or less will mean that you will be liable to the full week's fee.
