Russell is on top form as he brings back the British trophy that he won two years ago. Following three legs in Austria, Spain and Wales Russell is cooking on gas.

Russell has had a very exciting year already, having been head hunted for the job of test pilot with Ozone he has been sent around the globe demonstrating the latest in glider technology and handling that Ozone currently have on offer.

Forced to fly every flyable day from their base in Southern France, Russ has had plenty of practice to keep him on top form. Following a good comp in Spain and a top result in Marhofen, Austria Russell said "the more I fly, the luckier I seem to get" well that would be right.

His worst fear was concluding his good form in, Long Mynd, Wales on the August Bank holiday. "We had great weather in Austria but the UK can be fickle and I had great pilots like Mark Watts hot on my heels".

All his work with Ozone means that Russ is in hot demand but you can still book on his SIV course for May next year or meet him at St Hillaire where he will be accruing the latest Ozone toys.
