New Paramotor Instructor wins first round of Championships on his Parajet

Our new Paramotor instructor in charge of our Paramotor training courses and holidays in Spain came joint first this last weekend following a keen competition battle.

25th April 2013

Our Ric has been flying since he was just 14 yrs old and competing for the last couple of years. When not running Paramotoring courses here with us in Spain he´s been brushing up his skills competing. As part of the Parajet Team, they have  dominated the top of the league after the first leg of the British Paramotor League event

Under blue and sunny skies, the British League kicked off this weekend at the Boston Aerodrome, Lincolnshire and saw 12 pilots compete. .. A break in the weather over the weekend meant the comp director beasted us with mammoth 13 tasks. Paramotor competitions have a mix of slalom, navigation and economy  tasks. And the fast pace means we can fly lots of tasks in a day. And this comp was no exception with the launch window opening for task number one at 6 am on Saturday morning  then finishing  flying until dusk it was hard work. And the top 3 pilots were extremely close!  After winning the penultimate task This boosted me up from the 2nd place I had held onto all comp to Joint 1st!  Happy Days!

Ric will now focused on the French Nationals and Slalomania in two weeks time...more news to follow the UK´s brightest young star!
