New Cp Plus mentor program for new pilots for 2017

The course will also be tailored to fit in with the BHPAs new  Development Program

01st January 2017

New for 2017 they have now created a  new Mentor Program to be incorporated as part of Club Pilot Plus holidays. At the beginning of the guided paragliding holiday, you will be assigned your personal coach who will discuss your aims of the week with you and help you try to achieve these over the course of the week. Coaching support from one of our instructors

As with many groups we use 2-meter radios for coaching and advice,  we also include classroom and hill sessions on paragliding thermalling and pilot skills. However, no other groups look at your skill level on the first day of your holiday then chart your progress with constant briefings and debriefings. At the end of the week, you’ll be able to go away with a BHPA pilot development sheet outlining your next steps that you might want to work on towards your BHPA Pilots rating or cross country ambitions.

The course will also be tailored to fit in with the BHPAs new Development Program. An initiative for pilots to obtain a higher level of skill through a structured set course.

Our Cp Plus holidays will still be run in a similar format as before with two guides but with a difference. Now you will be assigned a guide to watch, work and debrief you on the hill and in the air…at no extra charge. Having an instructor and air to air coaching are core to improving flying skills and technique.

Also New for 2017: You can now buy a one hour Coaching Tandem Flight.

Fly with a Flyspain Instructor to work, one to one and in flight, on your thermal and Xc skills. What better way to hone those skills to become a great XC pilot!

Our holidays run every week from February to end of November, more information is available on our calendar
