Big personal best for March Xc pilots!

A full weeks worth of epic flying depsite a day of strong wind and some record breaking moments for many low airtime and more experienced pilots....

Doesn’t time fly when you are having fun, we have had some great free flying this last week. Sunday saw us in orbit for three hours over El Bosque, Monday saw us scrabbling about for thermals at Montellano, the luckier up for 2- 3hrs and an XC to Villamartin. Wednesday was windy but Thursday made up for it with colossal height gains over Algodonales and a 35k XC  by Jonathon over Moron and some great practise for big Friday. Out of the group of Eight seven pilots went over the back of the westerly in Algo with at least 2,500ft feet above launch, four bombing out near Ronda La Vieja and three making goal for Jamon, olives  and cold beers in Ronda. Another lovely week, loads of personal bests from everyone and some fun, safe flying.More and more pilots are both returning and finding out why the mountains of southern spain are so great to fly that we are laying on more weeks....see our calendar for availability
